Hello! This is the second post for the year and already there is a stumbling block. Well, probably more of a major disaster, because Word Press has updated to a new version and I haven't a clue how to use it! So much for jumping online and writing a quick blog about the fabulous glasses (and handbags, but that's another blog) I saw in Brisbane yesterday.
In my usual impatient style, I've just started tying in a box that says "body script". Fingers crossed that's the right box because if it's not I'll probably have a meltdown. I'm normally calm about these things, but I have a lot to do today, and I had about 3 hours of sleep last night! The joys of drinking Moet in Brisbane and then going running at 4:30 am. One day I will stop doing life the hard way - or is it a simple case of needing to grow up?
Ok back to the glasses. They were so cool and quirky. The glasses are made by a Japanse man called Naoki Nakagawa and are available at Wil Valour in Brisbane Quarter. You can design your own pair from the styles on display. The arms are shaped into animals and all sorts of things. I absolutely love them! It's def worth going to Wil Valour to have a look.
Dress Me GC followers who have been on the scene from the beginning will know I have been to Japan and I made sure Nacky (Naoki Nakagawa) knew all about. You'll all be pleased to know that I did refrain from showing him pics of my Japanese Family.
I'm helping with the Fashion on the Field this year at the Gold Coast Turf Club. We have some great sponsors on board and some fabulous prizes. If you'd like to help with prizes or suggestions, I'm all ears! Mark May 4 in your diary - I'll see you there.
Talk Soon. Cx
FYI: The "body script" thingo wasn't quite what I wanted it to be and I've spent about 2 hours getting this far! It's probably a good thing that it's too early for Manos (my local)
Go shopping and buy the glasses!
