Ok it’s about a week, maybe a bit more (who’s counting) since my last blog and it’s all gone down hill. Not really badly – I know people have it a lot worse – and I do have a sense of reality, but my tiny hospital visit was torture, my Purple Peel has annoyed me (I know short term inconvenience – long term gain), I’ve lost my favourite pair of sunglasses, smashed my phone and I think my kids pocket money account has a larger balance than mine! AND I need botox (yes I’m joking – not really)!
Anyway, there’s nothing I can do about it, except turn it all around because my friends are really sick of me (they are too polite to say so) and to be honest I’m sick of myself.
So with that I’m doing an all nighter folding seventy thousand loads of washing (not an exaggeration – I have 4 kids, a dog and The Love of My Life), ironing like I run the laundry on Prisoner and making sure my home is organised because guess what folks? I am skipping town! Yes the good people from Rolex have decided I need some Melbourne time. Formula 1 Australia Grand Prix time to be precise.
As you can imagine I need to be organised so I can pack my suitcase. There are a few outfits needed for the parties, and trackside events. I’ve had great support from Lisa Brown Designs, Janine Edwards Boutique and Black N Bling. It’s always hard to know what to wear. WATCH (pun intended) @dressmegc Instagram for all the pics and antics!
Anyway back to my Purple Peel……It’s always feels good to shed skin but it’s never fun when your skin has ‘breakouts’. I coincided my peel with my hospital visit so maybe the mix with anaesthetic wasn’t for me? Who knows. My skin is going well now. It’s still a bit dry but that can be rectified with skin repair moisturiser. Huge thanks to Laser Clinics Australia Runaway bay, & Skinstitut for the help and advise aling the way.
These photos are days 1 through to 5. I’ll post more in the next blog.
