Next week is my birthday and today I was lucky enough to receive an early birthday present. Dress Me GC scored a pair of Lorna Jane Black navy pants.
They are not for exercising – they are more of a lounge pant. The fabric is so nice. I thought they were silk, but on closer inspection it says: 65%cupro, 35%viscose. I have no idea what cupro is, but I do know that is so soft and very comfortable to wear. They retail for $110.99 Even the drawstring tie on the waist band is stretchy and soft!
I’ve teamed the pants with my usual favourites: a Lisa Brown white t-shirt (Toscana) and metallic silver Birkenstocks (ebay).
It’s a bit embarrassing to show you the photo of me wearing them as one of my favourite cousins is married to the beautiful Emily who is the face of LJ. After seeing the Lorna Jane catalogue photo everyone will agree that Emilys job is safe!
If you are looking for something to do on Mothers Day, have a look at Vavachi Entertainment’s concert at Mt Tambourine. They are on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/VavachiEntertainment?fref=ts
Dress Me GC is on Facebook and Instagram.
Thank you so much for your comments yesterday via this blog, facebook and Instagram – it certainly helps with the motivation to keep blogging.
Talk Tomorrow.

PS have been meaning to say…. Have you checked out Sussan lately? I want everything (almost) Got some great pieces from Glassons too (online, I’ve never ventured in store) over the summer eg: shorts, casual pants and striped dresses and cropped tops for the teenage goddaughters.
I’ll have a look at Sussan. I’ve never heard of Glassons. I’ve had a quick glance at the website and I’ll definitely investigate!
Discovered Glassons in NZ. They are in NSW & VIC. Usually good quality + on-trend
Gosh is it time for our 30th already?!
Great article
