This morning I went to the QT Hotel in Surfers with Lee From Ozharvest, Lifesaver & BFF Neighbour and 400 GC Ladies to a Business Chicks Breakfast with Sir Bob Geldof as the main drawcard.
It was great to see all the GC Ladies looking fantastic. There were a few media celebs from Briz at the Breakfast so it was nice to see the GC Ladies holding their own and looking very good.
I wore the Seed Heritage Skirt I bought last year with a new Equipment top from the Janine Edwards Equipment Sale. Get used to Dress Me GC & Equipment tops – I bought 5 of them! I know! I know! They were seriously good prices ($80 each). Having a few pairs of Conf3ss shoes is a life line, because I clicked on snakeskin strap to my nude wedges and away I went. Those shoes seriously solve any shoe crisis! Here’s a bad photo of me at the Breakfast:
Sir Bob spoke and 400 ladies listened (you could hear a pin drop) and then everyone clapped. I clapped too, but that’s because I didn’t want to appear rude. The combination of being deaf, Sir Bobs thick Irish accent and being almost at the back meant I couldn’t hear/understand much! Funnily enough, I did pick up the swear words!
Never the less, it was great to get dressed up, and socialise with everyone – a much better start to the day, than getting 4 kids to school! Thank you to The Love of My Life and his mother Marcia (yes, same name as the recent cyclone) for holding the fort!
