Dress Me GC Headquarters has been in total chaos in the lead up to the lunch and the aftermath of the lunch. There is so much to be done and the IT Dept has gone skiing in Japan and the blogger has had 4 BFF’s staying. I have been pounding the pavement running in a vain attempt to balance out the excesses (the BWS at Main Beach had sold out of Chandon Champagne by lunch time on Saturday – should I print that?).
The International Womens Day lunch at Sirromet was fantastic. Thank you to Sirromet for hosting an outstanding event. Everyone is still raving about the food and the wine. Thank you Andrew Mirosch and Adam Chapman.
To the 100 ladies from the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Toowomba, Roma, Stradbroke Island Sydney & Melbourne who supported the lunch, Thank you. You made it so much fun. The lunches only work if you support them and turn up, so I sincerely love seeing you all there.
Ivy Meets Gwenda and Surafina had Pop Up shops that were flat out all day. If you didn’t make it to the lunch, have a look on line: https://www.facebook.com/Surafina, https://www.facebook.com/ivymeetsgwenda. Ivy Meets Gwenda are offering a discount of 20% off all Ivy Meets Gwenda products until the end of March. I bought a vest in white that is the most beautiful colour (think winter white/creamy white). I can’t wait to wear it!
Deb Frecklington MP is a Star. Deb and I have been friends since the day we left school. Her welcome address was very entertaining. The feedback has been positive. It’s so refreshing to have a high profile female representative of the current Queensland government give an address to 100 ladies and be so well received. Thank you Deb. I know how busy your schedule is and appreciate your time. It was well noted that whilst you are a true professional you have an amazing capacity to keep it real!

Scott & Sarah Sullivan from MND & Me Foundation bought the house down with their speech. Over $2000.00 was raised from the raffles. Bron from MND & Me Foundation works like a trouper and is a huge huge at Dress Me GC Headquarters in the lead up to the lunch. If you weren’t at the lunch and want to support, please donate via the link on this website. Scott had a fall on Sunday and is undergoing surgery on Thurdsay. Read about the fall and progress on the MND & Me Foundation facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MNDFoundation

Heather The Bus Captain is always a huge support, helper and great fun! Thanks Heather!
Thank you to Dr Stephen Hadges for your talk. Scott was a difficult act to follow. Dr Hadges is on the Gold Coast on a regular basis if you’d like a consultation: (08) 8267 6100
Photos from the lunch will be uploaded to facebook and instagram overnight. https://www.facebook.com/dressme.gc
Toscana has some Lisa Brown in store with more arriving daily. Don’t delay – it sells out very quickly: https://www.facebook.com/ToscanaOnline?ref=br_tf
Talk Tomorrow.
Congratulations on what looks like it was a fabulous day. Pulling it all together must be a lot of work.
I vote your “guns” as best accessory for the day – wow!
When’s the next one?!?!
